Two Modeling Perspectives with Dr. David Moeser
April 21, 2022 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
Join us on Thursday, April 21st at 11 am central for the next installment of the Southern Plains Climate Science Webinar with Dr. David Moeser. Two Modeling Perspectives: The dynamics between a changing landscape, changing climate, and changing snow regime in the Rio Grande watershed.
Dr. Moeser is a Hydrologist with the USGS New Mexico Water Science Center and serves as the center’s technical authority on watershed modeling and snow hydrology investigations. His work helps scientists and land managers understand the effects of landscape disturbance and climate change on surface waters in mountainous systems. He focuses on the development and implementation of novel forest canopy characterizations in model platforms to better represent interactions between forests and snow water resources.
