Joint Stakeholder Committee
The South Central CASC began in 2012 and the precursor to the Joint Stakeholder Committee (JSC), the Stakeholder Advisory Committee (SAC) was formed the following year. The purpose of these committees is to recommend projects for funding to the Director. In 2016, the SAC was transformed into the Joint Stakeholder Committee (JSC) after South Central CASC joined their stakeholder committee with Southern Plains Climate Hub’s (SPCH) stakeholder committee. The JSC has two Co-Chairs, one from the USDA and one from the USGS.
